With a combined focus on spa, fitness and nutrition, our fitness facilities around the world represent Jumeirah’s way of taking a holistic approach to health and wellness. That’s why we are so proud of our fitness suites, state-of-the-art gyms, personal trainers, academies and classes, all of which are aimed at helping guests achieve their sporting, exercise and wellness ambitions.

Equipment to energise your exercise regime

From the Talise Fitness centres at Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and their ultramodern indoor equipment to the outdoor gyms at Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Al Naseem, there’s no such thing as a boring workout. Treadmills, rowing machines and cross trainers combine to ensure guests can always indulge in some cardio, while benches and a huge range of free weights offer an opportunity to tone and strengthen muscles.

Next level classes and coaching

Elite personal trainers are on hand at all Talise Fitness destinations to design high-intensity workouts that target the areas each guest wants to focus on. That’s in addition to a packed timetable of themed classes. At Burj Al Arab, for example, Total Body Burn is a high-energy strength-based session that targets abs and arms, the 30-minute Core Fusion workout is designed to push core muscles to their limit while improving participants’ posture, and Fit Force sees guests move through a series of HIIT (high-intensity interval training) cardio drills for a full-body workout.

And while Burj Al Arab has an indoor lap pool where people can perfect their crawl, really serious swimmers should dive into Talise Fitness’ pool school. From adult masterclasses to lessons for children of all abilities, private or group sessions are taught by internationally certified coaches and are the ideal way to make a splash.

Supercharge your sporting activities

With the same commitment to physical excellence, The Aviation Club at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has fitness activities covered thanks to a RPN spin studio, outdoor training area, two squash courts and four tennis courts, where both day and night matches can be played. That’s in addition to a supremely stylish 25m glass-bottom lap pool that’s situated at Cu-ba rooftop bar.

Meanwhile, personal training sessions and fitness assessments are complemented by a group studio, which hosts Tone, Barre and Sprint classes that have been designed and approved by the respected New Zealand track and field athlete Les Mills. For something really different, however, and to really put your body through its paces, The Aviation Club also offers aerial or anti-gravity yoga, which sees poses being practiced while suspended in the air – it’s a great way to strengthen and stretch the whole body.

At Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s The J Club, a spacious indoor workout space – which includes panoramic views of the sea and the iconic Burj Al Arab – and an al fresco training area are accompanied by squash courts and six floodlit hard tennis court, where Peter Burwash International (PBI) offers quality tennis instructional sessions. In addition, the sporting performance of each and every guest is supported by Hypervolt massage therapy treatment, endurance training, rehabilitation and holistic wellness services.

Celebrate your sporting achievements

After any physical exertions, it’s important to stretch out tired muscles and rest weary limbs, which is why saunas, steam rooms, a Jacuzzi and refreshing plunge pools are located in the locker areas of both The Aviation Club and The J Club.

In addition, Talise Fitness centres are situated alongside luxurious Talise Spa facilities. There are plenty of places to soak up the serenity of the Talise Ottoman Spa at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – from the indoor saltwater Thalassotherapy pool to the eye-catching 59m-long infinity pool on the Palm Jumeirah. Meanwhile, perched 150m above the Arabian Gulf, Talise Spa at Burj Al Arab takes wellness to whole new level with a blissfully relaxing menu of indulgent face and body treatments.

As we continue to reopen our fitness facilities, the pledge to #StaySafeWithJumeirah remains our number-one priority. As a result, all machines have been situated a safe distance apart, in line with social-distancing regulations, capacity has been reduced to 30% (and to limit the number of guests, pre-booking is required) and some lockers are temporarily unavailable. In addition, we sanitise equipment before and after each use, as well as each evening.

Achieve your sporting, exercise and wellness ambitions when you stay at Jumeirah's hotels and residences.
