For Rashed, J Club is more than just a fitness centre - “it has become my second home.” Located at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and along the winding waterways of Madinat Jumeirah at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, this is where his lifelong journey toward health began. He was 13 when he first stepped inside, following in the footsteps of his parents, who had made wellness a family ritual. Decades later, it remains his anchor - a space to push his limits, unwind in the pool, and find comfort in the familiar faces that greet him.



"When I first joined J Club, I was immediately drawn to its community-driven atmosphere and world-class facilities,” he recalls. “It wasn’t just a gym - it was a space where like-minded individuals came together to challenge themselves and grow. Over the years, it has become my sanctuary, a place where I can disconnect from daily stress and focus on personal progress, whether that means pushing myself physically or simply taking a moment to recharge."

Rowing, in particular, has been a great outlet - it requires focus, rhythm, and endurance – a motion which is both meditative and powerful, which helps clear my mind and reset my energy."

A steam room session to recharge, a tennis rally at sunset, a moment of stillness before diving into the sea.
