At Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, we demonstrate a commitment to eco-conscious solutions in our day-to-day operations. Supported by water treatment experts Trust Your Water, we provide guests with locally sourced, filtered, still and sparkling water in reusable sports bottles, which can be refilled at the resort’s water stations. We have eliminated the use of plastic straws and stirrers in favour of products made from recycled materials, as well as biodegradable takeaway cups and lids. Joint initiatives with our resort suppliers mean we no longer receive food product packaging; display cut flowers or have single-use plastics in our minibars. Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is proud to be the only resort in the Middle East to be awarded ‘Straw Free’, ‘Sustainability Steward’ and ‘Ocean Champion’ badges from the global NGO The Oceanic Standard.
