Ristorante L' Olivo at Al Mahara

Born on the island of Ischia, Andrea Migliaccio inherited his passion for the culinary arts from his grandmother, who he helped prepare family meals in the kitchen with. After completing his specialized hôtellerie diploma, Chef Andrea took on various roles at La Terrazza and Il Pellicano in Italy, followed by roles at Capri Palace’s L'Olivo restaurant where he achieved his first Michelin star in 2011, followed by a second star in the next year. He also oversaw the launch of Il Riccio, and in 2013, the restaurant earned a coveted Michelin star, solidifying its reputation as a culinary masterpiece. Chef Andrea was also involved in significant collaborations and events from Paris & Barcelona to New York & Tokyo. To this day, he participates in international gastronomic events as he continues to expand his vision in the culinary world. His cuisine highlights innovation and tradition, bringing the best of Mediterranean seasonal ingredients and creating a paradise of flavour. Today, Chef Andrea heads Burj Al Arab Jumeirah’s Al Mahara and has been shortlisted as “Hotel Chef of the Year” in Hotel & Catering News’ Leaders in the Hospitality Awards 2023.
