Capri, the island embraced by crystalline waters and steeped with Italy’s magnetic allure, welcomes a new culinary love story to its repertoire: a-Ma-Re Capri. This playful twist on the Italian expressions amare, meaning to love, and a mare, meaning by the sea, sets the tone for a restaurant that celebrates the essence of Capri, and embodies everything we adore about our island.
Nestled on the terraces of the Nettuno Beach Club, just steps away from Il Riccio beach club, you can spend hours enjoying mesmerising views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the magical Blue Grotto. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colours, textures, and shapes of the Mediterranean, our new restaurant reflects the island's scenic charm and offers a unique vantage point along the sweeping coastline, promising an unforgettable dining experience.
Under the watchful eye of Executive Culinary Chefs Andrea Migliaccio and Salvatore Elefante, our Head Chef Anna Vichi works with the island's finest suppliers to ensure guests enjoy evocative local ingredients. Her menu celebrates the essence of Neapolitan cuisine, featuring signature pizzas, traditional first courses, and delectable secondi (main dishes). Complimenting this gastronomic journey is a meticulously curated drinks selection, catering to every palate with precision and flair.
Infusing an extra layer of delight into our culinary offerings is the renowned Pizza Chef Chef Franco Pepe, globally celebrated as a master pizzaiolo and the visionary behind the acclaimed Pepe in Grani pizzeria in Caiazzo. Renowned for his blend of innovation, craftsmanship, and reverence for regional ingredients, Pepe has earned a distinguished reputation for his commitment to excellence. His pizzas, made with fresh, local ingredients and inventive techniques, have garnered an inspired list of accolades, including three "Spicchi" awards from Gambero Rosso for ten consecutive years. Pepe’s restaurant holds the prestigious honour of being the first pizzeria included in “The World's 50 Best Restaurants.” It is a joy to welcome such expertise as Pepe’s into our kitchen and infuse his mastery into our cooking.
From the two-Michelin-starred L'Olivo to the exceptional seafood of Il Riccio, and the contemporary Japanese artistry of Zuma Capri, discover three more culinary experiences designed to delight every sense. Throughout the summer season of 2024, the cosy and refined ambience of L’Olivo will set the stage for a series of exclusive 4-hands dinners, inviting three of the most renowned Italian chefs in the world to mesmerise our guests with their culinary prowess. These include Bobo Cerea from Da Vittorio (Three-Michelin Stars) near Bergamo, Nino Di Costanzo from Danì Maison (Two-Michelin Stars) in Ischia, and Paolo Casagrande from Restaurant Lasarte in Barcelona (Three-Michelin Stars).
