Climb to the top of Main Tower

Kids will love the views from Main Tower’s rooftop observation platform, where a quick lift to the 56th floor is topped off by sublime panoramic views. You can see right across the city’s cathedrals and skyscrapers, while also spotting miniature cars and people below. Dominating Frankfurt’s skyline, Main Tower is the city’s highest vantage point.

Feed the animals at Frankfurt Zoo

Set in the heart of the city, Frankfurt Zoo will sprinkle some animal magic onto your day. Get imaginative at the Young Museum

Housed within the Historic Museum Frankfurt, this kids-focused centre presents fun, educational, interactive experiences and displays. Picnic at Günthersburgpark

Not only is Günthersburgpark wonderfully scenic, it’s also home to an all-important adventure playground, a guaranteed vote-winner with energetic youngsters looking to let off steam. Located in the northeast of the city, the beautiful leafy gardens are home to rare redwoods and black pines, surrounded by neatly trimmed lawns. In summer, the park’s giant fountain and waterslide is a magnet for kids wanting to cool off after monkeying around on the 10m-tall climbing tower.

See dinosaurs at the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History

The whole family will love travelling back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the earth at the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History. Showcasing a colossal number of dinosaur skeletons, amphibians, birds, minerals and rocks, the museum also tracks the history of the planet’s evolution, from the big bang through to today. Among the museum's more unusual exhibits are the preserved mummies of two young Egyptian boys thought to be around 2,000 years old.
