Muhammet started his career in the industry working as a kitchen helper at the young age of 15, here he realised his passion for cooking and love for experimenting and decided to pursue a course in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. With over 20 years of invaluable experience, Muhammet has worked with incomparable talent such as Chef Veli Bayraktar as well as across the world in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Russia. In 2008, he embarked on his career as a Commis at the Voyage Hotel, following 4 years he took up the position as Demi Chef de Partie in Rixos Hotels. Following a few years in Greece and Cyprus, Muhammet returned to Turkey as Chef de Partie at Rixos Hotels. After spending 1 year in Russia, he made the move to Dubai as the Sous Chef in Rixos the Palm. He joined Jumeirah in 2017 as the Head Chef at Babaji and took on the role as Head Chef to open Boaz in 2022.
