ACTIVITYIce skate at Vittaveli

Skate, play ice hockey or simply watch from the edge of the artificial rink

Related activities

A first in the Maldives and an experience unlike any other, the ice skating rink at Jumeirah Vittaveli is fun, exciting and unexpected. Guests can skate, play ice hockey or simply watch from the edge of the artificial rink.

True to Jumeirah Vittaveli's core beliefs of improving sustainability wherever possible, the ice rink – made by Glice® – is synthetic and works entirely without water, and at a zero-energy level.

Ice Ice Maybe was ceremonially inaugurated in March 2018 by Olympic Gold medallist Evgeni Plushenko, who treated guests to a show stopping performance on the rink.
