Be transported to the Amalfi Coast by the Arabian Gulf

With expansive views over swaying palms, pristine sand and azure waters, only the magnificent Burj Al Arab reminds guests at beachfront restaurant Rockfish that they’re not actually on the Mediterranean. Rockfish is the place to go for exceptional Italian-Spanish-style seafood crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Marco Garfagnini, starting with fresh fish served ‘crudo’ – sliced thinly and marinated with oil, lemon and herbs. For the main event, think authentic pasta, risotto or a succulent fish dish, or share a main for two, like the grilled seafood platter featuring king crab, lobster and octopus.

Share Nikkei specialities at a rooftop fusion pop-up

Newly transitioned from pop-up to permanent, Kayto is the effortlessly chic rooftop restaurant at Jumeirah Al Naseem. Combining innovative fusion cooking with sweeping views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, this is destination dining done right. Head Chef Cristian Goya has shaped his heritage into a tantalising showcase of Peruvian-Japanese ‘Nikkei’ cuisine. The menu here is designed to be shared and the fusion dishes are always a little unexpected. Start with a selection of ceviche and neatly rolled nigiri before exploring a medley of different meat and fish dishes that are bursting with Asian spices and South American techniques.

Feast on the flavours of the French Riviera

French Riviera is Jumeirah Al Qasr’s newest dining destination, a stylish beachfront pop-up that transports you to southern France. Classically beautiful, French Riviera marries Mediterranean vibes with wonderful views of the Arabian Gulf. Chef Kim Joinié-Maurin’s French-focused menu is a glorious mix of old and new flavours; be seated for a selection of decadent dishes ranging from truffled tuna and fresh octopus to lobster linguine and the house signature of wood-fired beef entrecote.

Breakfast like royalty in a gilded dining room

Elevate an everyday occasion with a regal twist and have breakfast at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s Imperium. In a setting inspired by the grand Ottoman palaces, breakfast in this decadent dining hall is an opulent affair of gilded columns, vaulted ceilings and glittering crystal chandeliers. Start off the day in style indoors, or dine al fresco on the terrace for a breakfast backdrop of ocean views. Typical table menu offerings to try include brunch-style classics like eggs benedict and avocado toast.

Dine on decadent seafood in a mirrored box

Embark on an epicurean journey spanning the Iberian Peninsula at the latest dining address to pop up at Burj Al Arab. SAL is the gastronomic hotspot headed up by Chef Garfagnini; located on the Terrace, the restaurant offers a unique mirrored design that’s just as breathtaking as the reflective palette of sea and sky views. Named for the Spanish and Portuguese word for ‘salt’, there’s a reason why the menu focuses on the fruits of the Iberian sea. Tuck into starters like prawns in tomato sauce and tuna tartare and explore signature mains such as the king crab pasta and sea salt-crusted seabass.
