Dinner with Chef Musabbeh and Chef Hanane

Experience a delightful evening with the first ever Emirati Chef, Chef Musabbeh and Chef Hanane Ouaddahou, an independent Moroccan Chef. Join an evening of a five course set-menu dinner hosted by the chefs where they bring together the flavours of Emirati cuisine and Moroccan classics to create a dinner experience like no other. 

Hanane is Moroccan-French, born and raised in Morocco. Mom of 2 kids, she left her home country when she was 17 to study Finance in France where she spent 15 years. After almost 10 years as a Consultant in Business Intelligence, she decided to initiate a change and followed her heart and passion for cooking.In 2015, she filmed her first show Live in Ramadan called “La Marocaine” in memory of her Moroccan restaurant in France. In 2016, her second food show was called “Malh wi kamoun” (Salt and Cumin) and was focused on Mediterranean Cuisine. In 2017, her third food show was called “Ala Tarekati”, presenting her favorite dishes by adding her own twist. 

In 2018, she joined the famous Egyptian Show “ Al Qahera Al youm”, a 3 hours entertainment Live show. She had her own segment, cooking live with presenters and guests. Beside her career as a TV Chef, she had the chance to be a Consultant for the Famous Martha Stewart for her 5th Season of Cooking School, specialized on Arabian Gulf Cuisine. The show was aired last Ramadan on OSN ALFA TV. Today, she is also working for different brands, restaurants and hotels as Culinary Consultant and offering cooking classes alongside building a personal spice and seasoning brand.

A true trailblazer in the UAE’s culinary scene, Chef Musabbeh’s colourful career as the first Emirati Chef started after serving seven years in the United Arab Emirates Army forces. In 2000, he joined Oasis Beach Hotel as Commis 3 chef, before moving to Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa in 2004. In 2006, Chef Musabbeh joined the Jumeirah Group where he worked for three years at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. In 2008, he became the Sous Chef De Cuisine at Dubai World Trade Centre and then became the Head Chef in the Kempinski Hotel at Mall of the Emirates. Chef Musabbeh next move was to become a Concept Consultant Chef for the pre-opening of Shawati restaurant in Abu Dhabi, before moving to the Cassels hotel in Al Barsha where he was an Executive Chef.
 
In 2011 he moved to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, where he has stayed ever since, starting as Interim Executive Sous Chef before being promoted to Executive Oriental Chef in 2016. A Jumeirah stalwart, he has also spent time assisting with operations at Jumeirah Port Soller, Jumeirah Messilah Beach and Spa (Kuwait), Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Al Naseem. Chef Musabbeh is also famous for his Ramadan cooking shows which were featured in both Kuwaiti Channel Al Rai TV “Sufra Khaleejeeya” and Sharjah TV “Cooking and More”. He was also honoured with the “Captaincy Title” of UAE’s culinary team since 2014. Keen to showcase Emirati cuisine, Musabbeh still presents various TV shows and cooking demonstrations across the region.
