Can anyone create a family account?

Any active Jumeirah One Member, who is not currently a member of another family account or has not been a part of a family account in the past 3 months, can create a Jumeirah One family account.

Who can join a family account?

Any valid Jumeirah One Member, who has been invited by a family head and is not currently a part of another family account or has not been in the past 3 months, can join.

 

How many members can be in a family account?

A maximum of 10 Jumeirah One Members, including the family head, may be in a family account.

What are the benefits of being a part of a family account?

Members of a family account are provided with the opportunity to pool their Jumeirah One Points, under the guardianship of the family head, and use them toward shared holidays and exciting experiences with the entire family.

How can a family head invite more family members?

The family head can invite another Jumeirah One Member to join the family account by visiting jumeirah-one.com and, once logged in, visiting the ‘Family Account’ section within the ‘Manage Account’ page accessible from their Jumeirah One account homepage.

Can Members be removed from a family account?

The family head has the ability to remove other Members from the family account, where the relevant family member(s) will be notified by email.

How does Points sharing work in a family account?

Upon becoming a part of a family account, the Member will select their Points Contribution – the % of future Jumeirah One Points earned that will be contributed to the family account. The Member is able to amend the Points Contribution % at any time by logging in to their Jumeirah One online account and visiting the ‘family account’ section within the ‘Manage Account’ page accessible from their Jumeirah One account homepage.

What happens if a Member decides to leave a family account?

Members of a family account can choose to leave the family account at any time. However upon doing so, the equivalent balance of Points that Member has contributed to the family account during their time as a family account Member will remain with the family account.

Who can use the family account Points balance?

The family head is the only Member who is able to make transactions on behalf of the family account and utilise the pooled Jumeirah One Points.

Can a family account be closed?

Yes; the family head can choose to close the family account at any time whereby participating Members will be notified by email. All Jumeirah One Points contributed to the family account will remain with the family head upon closing of the family account.
