The anticipated launch of Jumeirah One, your new rewards and recognition programme for Jumeirah hotels and resorts, is almost here! Our aim is to ensure there is minimal disruption to our members, however as we upgrade our technology, and in order to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the new programme, a systems downtime period is required prior to launch. This downtime period will be taking place from 12:01am (GMT+4) on Monday, 20th July. We will then send you an email on 21st July with details on how to login and activate your new Jumeirah One account.

When will the new programme, Jumeirah One, launch?

The new programme will be launched on 21 July 2020.

Why is Jumeirah’s loyalty programme changing?

At Jumeirah, we constantly strive to provide our most loyal guests with the very best that Jumeirah has to offer. Introducing enhanced privileges, customised experiences, easier ways to manage your membership account and more flexibility to use your Points, we are excited to share with you the new Jumeirah One programme and to have you be a part of this new journey with us. 

Will there be a period when the current Jumeirah One programme is not available and the new Jumeirah One programme is not yet up and running?

Yes, there will be a short window of downtime when we transition to the new loyalty programme.  We expect this to last no more than 24 hours.  You will be informed and reminded via email of this downtime period prior to it commencing.

Can I still earn Points during this downtime period?

Yes, you will be able to continue to earn Points; these will reflect in your Points balance in the new programme once it is live.  

Can I still redeem/exchange Points for stays or other rewards during this downtime period?

No; you will not be able to redeem your Points during this short period of downtime.  An email will be sent to you in advance informing you of everything you need to know in preparation for this downtime period. 

I have a future stay with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, booked with Jumeirah One Points, but my arrival date is after 15 July 2020; will my stay still be honoured?

Yes; all redemption bookings for future stay dates will be honoured and the same terms and conditions as well as cancellation policies apply.

 

I have redeemed Points for a Jumeirah One reward (dining certificate, spa voucher, etc.); will this still be valid?

Yes; all redemption e-certificates will be migrated over to the new Jumeirah One programme where you will be able to use any valid voucher for which you have already redeemed Points. The expiration date of the voucher will remain unchanged as will any associated Terms & Conditions.

What will happen to my Jumeirah One account? Will I automatically become a Member of Jumeirah One?

Anyone with a valid Jumeirah One membership will automatically become a Jumeirah One Member.  You will be required to reset your password for your online account log-in and details will be sent to your registered email closer to the time.

Will there be changes to my tier level privileges in the Jumeirah One programme?

Yes; updates have been made membership privileges.  Some former Jumeirah One benefits that you may have been familiar with have been replaced with other exciting privileges and experiences for you to enjoy as a new Jumeirah One Member.  You will be informed of these changes accordingly via email.   In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of just some of the new or enhanced privileges to come:

Will I receive a new membership card as a Jumeirah One Member?

With the launch of Jumeirah One, we are going digital!  Physical cards and membership packs will only be confirmed for Platinum Members. All Members will however have their own personalised e-card, accessible when logging in to your online membership account or downloading the new mobile app.

Will I still have the same Membership Number?

Yes; your new Jumeirah One account will use the same Membership Number that you have now with Jumeirah One.

What about my Points balance?

Your previous Jumeirah One Points will be transferred over to the new Jumeirah One Programme and renamed Jumeirah One Points. They will retain the same value. Your Tier Points will also be transferred.

Will the expiry date of my membership change?

Blue and Silver Membership validity will remain unchanged and will be the same for your Jumeirah One account. Gold Memberships will be given a new one year validity from the date of launch of Jumeirah One.

Will the value of Points be different in Jumeirah One? Will I need more Points for rewards?

There will be no changes to the value of your Points and rewards will also remain the same, although we are introducing some exciting new options!

What tier levels are there in the Jumeirah One programme?

Jumeirah One will have four tier levels: 

  • Member
  • Silver
  • Gold 
  • Platinum
 

How can I progress from tier to tier in Jumeirah One Have the Tier Points requirements changed?

The amount of Tier Points required to achieve or maintain has changed for Silver Tier only.

  • To achieve Silver status: 5,000 Tier Points are required
  • To achieve Gold status: 30,000 Tier Points are required
  • To achieve Platinum status: 90,000 Tier Points are require

How many Points will I earn in the new programme?

As with Jumeirah One, all Members will collect 2 Jumeirah One Points and 2 Tier Points for every 1 USD (or equivalent) of eligible spend at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts worldwide. Depending on your tier level, you may also receive bonus Jumeirah One Points.

  • Silver Members receive 25% bonus Jumeirah One Points
  • Gold Members receive 50% bonus Jumeirah One Points
  • Platinum Members receive 100% bonus Jumeirah One Points

Will I keep the same tier level in the Jumeirah One programme?

Your tier level may be updated at the launch of Jumeirah One based on the qualifying criteria of the new programme. You may therefore find your membership account has been upgraded to a higher tier category. 

Is membership of Jumeirah One programme free of charge?

Yes; there will be no cost to becoming a Member of Jumeirah One.
