Dubai for Business

Day 1 - Dubai for Business

Morning

To avoid the effects of jetlag, start your day with some light exercise at The Health Club at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The Club opens at 06:00 and has an outdoor pool, weights, cardio machines and an oxygen bar that supplies fresh oxygen to your body through a headset.

If you’re staying at Emirates Towers, in one of the Club Executive rooms, enjoy a working breakfast from the Club Executive Lounge on level 42. An alternative option is to enjoy the buffet at Mosaico which has a range of cold and hot options, including Arabic and Asian breakfast items.

Lunch

If you need to discuss business over lunch, you may take your business client to Vu’s on level 50 of Jumeirah Emirates Towers. It has a stunning view and delicious modern European cuisine. While ordering, you must try the Monkfish, their signature dish.

Afternoon

Get the concierge desk to organize transport for your afternoon appointments. When your business schedule clears, you can take some time to relax and rejuvenate at Talise Spa. Their treatment range is extensive and the spa also has ways in which you can catch up on lost sleep. The spa is equipped with a flotation tank, filled with saline water. Floating in this tank, for an hour, is equivalent to sleeping for eight hours.

For ladies, there’s plenty of scope for retail therapy. The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest mall and is located five minutes away by taxi. It houses 1,200 stores – 70 of which are dedicated to haute couture. Closer to the hotel, the Boulevard offers a more exclusive and serene retail experience.

Relax in the lobby of Jumeirah Emirates Towers or make use of The BizPod located on level 3. Here you will find computer terminals, personal meeting rooms, newspapers, magazines and secretarial support.

Evening

Take your colleagues out at night for a scrumptious dinner. Tokyo@thetowers is a brilliant Japanese restaurant on the upper floor of the Boulevard. The teppanyaki tables add fun and flair to the dining experience. To make the evening more memorable, spend some time  at the adjoining karaoke bar, Harry Ghatto's.
