Day 1- Dubai Family Fun
In the morning, Latitude is a great choice for a wholesome breakfast. If the weather is not too hot, the al fresco is a great option to enjoy the outdoors. Inside, there is an extensive buffet with live cooking stations and the kids will love the play area complete with video games.
After breakfast, the children can enjoy fun-filled activities at Sinbad’s – the hotel’s kids’ club. Children aged 2-4 years can use the club for one morning or afternoon session daily, while children aged 5-12 years can use it on an unlimited basis, all day long.
With the children having fun in their own club, you can head for a relaxing beach massage and maybe a swim in the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf.
Beachcombers is a restaurant that blends cuisine from across Asia. The ambience and views are superb and the children have a play area too. If you are staying at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, you have many choices for lunch. The Waterfront restaurant is another popular place located on the ground floor of the Pavilion Marina & Sports Club.
After lunch, head down to the beach and enjoy some time in the sun. The watersports centre rents out fun equipment like kayaks, kneeboards and banana boats. Towel-off and board the complementary shuttle to Dubai Mall. Now the largest mall in the world, Dubai Mall offers ice skating, an indoor theme park –SEGA Republic and a huge aquarium with coral, fish and sharks.
The Dubai Fountain is located just outside the Mall and is a spectacle in itself. Fountain shows start at 18:00. They are 20 minutes long and truly spectacular. From here, you can also see Burj Dubai – the world’s tallest building.

Day 2 - Dubai Family Fun
Enjoy a light and fresh breakfast at the Waterfront at Jumeirah Beach Hotel to start the day. You may also visit the modern gym with 60 pieces of equipment, classes, squash and a spa. Outside there is a climbing wall which is popular with both kids and adults. For two-wheeled fun, take a guided Segway tour along the beach front.
Wild Wadi is a fun and thrilling waterpark connected to Jumeirah Beach Hotel. As a guest of the hotel, families get complimentary access to the theme park. The onsite photographers will capture every crazy moment on film.
Julshan’s Kitchen and Sinbad’s Galley are the two main restaurants of Wild Wadi. They serves delicacies like burgers, sandwiches, pasta, pizza and fries as well as some healthier options like salads and grilled chicken.
After a few more rides at Wild Wadi, get your taxi driver to drop you off at Ibn Battuta Mall in The Gardens. Named after the explorer, the mall is divided into six different courts themed after the places he travelled to. Inside the 21 screen cinema complex, the IMAX theatre is a must –visit. It shows films ranging from blockbusters to nature documentaries.
Outside, the hot air balloon experience gives you amazing views of the Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Marina and the surrounding district. Attached to a steel cable, the experience is great for family photos and it’s particularly popular during sunset.
You will get a bird’s-eye view of the Dubai Marina from the hot balloon. However, nothing compares to walking down its streets, in person. It’s a modern and vibrant part of Dubai with plenty of dining options. Try Noodle House – an Asian chain of restaurants operating throughout the Middle East. Once seated at your table, use the menu pad and pens to mark the dishes you want to order. The menu is constantly evolving and includes dishes from Thailand, China and Japan.
