Madinat Jumeirah introduces kid’s afternoon tea

Dubai, 04 April 2016: Creative chefs at Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai, have introduced a kid’s afternoon tea in Al Samar Lounge at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam.

A dream come true for younger guests, this afternoon tea presents kids with a selection of   sweet and savoury treats.

Children can enter a world of creativity and fantasy where everything seems upside down. The selection includes: macaroon burgers with cookie fries accompanied by vanilla, strawberry and mango syrups in ketchup, mayo and mustard bottles; fresh pizza straight out of the cookie pan with toppings of fruit; and an inverted melting ice cream in the style of a cup cake. Youngsters can gulp down the pastries with an all natural strawberry compote or gourmet chocolate milk.

Savoury items are just as imaginative. Kids can play with old school favourites like push pops made into rainbow jam sandwiches, then taste brioche cupcakes with whipped cream cheese and ketchup potato chips.

Adults can enjoy an indulgent four course afternoon tea including savoury treats, pastries, and traditional scones amongst other treats. Traditional afternoon tea and the kid’s afternoon tea are served daily in Al Samar Lounge at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam from 2 – 6pm, priced at AED 100 for children and AED 200 for adults.
