Dubai, 06 March 2016: This March, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah welcomes the widely acclaimed chef, Pascal Aussignac of Michelin-starred Club Gascon restaurant to showcase a specially crafted menu for four days.
The multi-award winning restauranteur, who hails from Toulouse in south-west France is residing at the hotel from 15 -18 March to present a Gascon-inspired menu at Al Muntaha restaurant.
Chef Pascal is classically trained with French master chefs such as Alain Dutournier and Gerard Vic. Alongside his business partner Vincent Labeyrie he opened his flagship restaurant, Club Gascon in the heart of London 18 years ago. They now have seven other affiliate artisan restaurants across London.
Over the three days in Al Muntaha, Chef Pascal will personally prepare the menu for both lunch and dinner services. Guests are invited to experience the imaginitive cuisine from Pascal’s beloved homeland Gascony, which is famous for foie gras.
Pascal’s lavish five-course set menu features his take on the French classic; ultimate foie gras and caviar sturia with an oceanic crisp. For the second course guests can look forward to an amber tulip flower, which is quinoa primavera and bitter carrot. Barbecued white gold fish with maize, black truffle and aromatic artichoke follows as the fish course and for the main course Chef Pascal will prepare roasted duck with squash, glazed verjuice and crunchy grapes. The final course of the AED 650 menu is red-hot chilli berries.
Chef Pascal will be at the Burj al Arab’s Al Muntaha restaurant from 15 - 18 March 2016.
