Tortuga Mexican Kitchen and Bar celebrates first birthday

Dubai, 16 March 2015:  To celebrate a fantastic first year, Tortuga the authentic Mexican restaurant in Mina A’ Salam Hotel, has launched a series of new and exclusive offers to be enjoyed every night of the week.  

The cumpleaños celebrations will start with The Mexican Street Market every Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtime. The live and buzzing cooking stalls will serve up Mexico’s freshest dishes on the terrace. Choose from Tortuga’s signature seafood ceviches, tostadas, beef and chicken fajitas or lamb and vegetable barbacoas. Tortuga customers can dine unlimited from the menu for AED 99, or for AED 139 with one glass of hops, grape or classic margarita between 12-3pm.

Fiesta de la Tortuga continues throughout the week, with a series of exciting promotions. Every Sunday guests can enjoy four bottles of hops for AED 99. On Monday, Tortuga celebrates Mexico’s favourite drink with 25% off all margarita chingonas. 

On Tuesday, it’s all out ‘Viva Mexico’ with 2 for 1 on selected traditional Mexican beverages. Sharing is caring on Wednesday with half price on selected bottles of grape when ordering from the restaurant menu. 

On Thursday, enjoy 50% off all Mexican soft drinks and every Friday get 30% off selected Mexican beverages. On Saturday, see out the weekend in style with 25% off a wide selection of beverages. Need an afternoon refresher? Enjoy the Mexican Happy Hour every day from 12-5pm on a great selection of beverages.

The anniversary activity will be hosted by Oscar Rito, the newly appointed Chef Patron of Tortuga. Fresh from the kitchens of his native homeland, Mexico, Chef Oscar has trained at world-class restaurants including El Bulli in Spain, Vermeer Restaurant in Amsterdam, Martin Berasategui in Lazarte, San Sebastian and more, bringing with him a wealth of experience with the aim to establish Tortuga as the best Mexican in the Middle East.
