Rome, 18 February 2015: Jumeirah Grand Hotel via Veneto in Rome has unveiled a special ‘Rome for Expo’ package in preparation for Expo Milano 2015, which starts in May 2015.
The luxury property, located in Rome’s exclusive Via Veneto, is encouraging visitors to take advantage of their time in Italy and make the short trip from Milan to historic Rome. The journey takes 75 minutes by plane or just over three hours by high-speed train.
The ‘Rome for Expo’ package features a VIP welcome with Italian delicacies upon arrival, romantic dinner for two at the hotel’s Sky Bar and Grill overlooking the city, complimentary access to the AQVA CITY SPA and the chance to explore the nearby Villa Borghese Gardens by bicycle.
Taking inspiration from the core themes of Expo Milano 2015, the chef at Jumeirah Grand Hotel via Veneto has specially created a seasonal ‘Energy for Life’ menu for the Sky Bar and Grill. The menu encompasses hearty Roman dishes made from fresh pasta, locally-sourced vegetables and fine-quality cheeses. Guests can enjoy a delicious and relaxing dining experience, from the cozy rooftop terrace with spectacular views of Rome.
Various exhibition spaces across Rome will host their own activities in conjunction with the global showcase. Located in the heart of the city, Jumeirah Grand Hotel via Veneto is just a stone’s throw from must-see historic spots such as the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, and perfectly positioned to explore the Expo 2015 exhibitions. This stunning hotel is housed in two renovated and restored 19th century villas, beautifully combined to create a modern masterpiece; containing 1920s inspired handmade furniture and an extensive private art collection featuring works by Picasso, Mirò and Dalì.
