Jumeirah Vittaveli appoints a new Executive Chef

Maldives, 19 January 2015: Jumeirah Vittaveli in the Maldives has appointed Richard Faeh as the new Executive Chef.

In his new role, Richard will oversee Jumeirah Vittaveli’s three main restaurants ‘Mu’, ‘Samsara’ and ‘Fenesse’, ensuring consistent high quality food and service is delivered across all the resort’s menus. He will also focus on creating new ‘Dining by Design’ experiences.

Born and educated in Switzerland, Richard enrolled at the Culinary Trade School in Zurich, before earning his executive chef certification from the Hotel School Montana in Lucerne. He began his career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, building his wealth of experience in international cuisine across the brand’s portfolio of hotels. Richard brings a cosmopolitan flavour to Jumeirah Vittaveli, using the freshest ingredients and highest quality local produce to enhance and develop the resort’s culinary offerings. Chef Richard will use his vast knowledge of diverse cuisines and cultures to create new menus for the resort’s three restaurants and for special, personalised guest dining experiences.
