Dubai, 11 May 2015: Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company, and member of Dubai Holding, has announced Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca has been granted membership of Virtuoso, the travel industry’s leading luxury network.
Located in the heart of the Soller valley, the hotel joins Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and Al Qasr Jumeirah at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, members since 2014, and Jumeirah Frankfurt and Jumeirah Dhevanafushi in the Maldives, both inducted earlier this year. This latest addition brings the total number of Virtuoso Hotels within Jumeirah Group to five.
Virtuoso travel advisors draw upon first-hand experience and unparalleled connections to partner with clients in order to craft the perfect vacation. The network spans across North and South America, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Jordi E. Tarrida, General Manager at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, said: “The Virtuoso travel programme welcomes only the best in hospitality, and we are thrilled to be part of the esteemed group. With a distinct location on the cliff, commitment to authentic local programming and experiences, and high level of service and luxury, Jumeirah Port Soller is proud to continue its tradition of excellence as a member of Virtuoso.”
Built on a cliff overlooking Port Soller on the northwest coast of Mallorca, the hotel enjoys uninterrupted sea views set against the stunning backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa occupies one of the most idyllic sites on the island in the heart of the Soller valley, renowned for its orange, lemon and olive orchards.
