Jumeirah Group wins at Hotelier Middle East Awards

Dubai, 02 November 2015:Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, is celebrating after scooping two accolades at the Hotelier Middle East Awards.

Muhammad Usman Rana, IT Manager, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi was named ‘IT Person of the Year,’ and HR Director Mona Al Hebsi, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai, won ‘HR and Training Person of the Year.’

During the last year, Muhammad Usman Rana has reduced IT expenses by 36.7%, successfully implemented initiatives in line with the Green Globe environmental certification and increased the internet speed to improve the guest experience at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

Mona Al Hebsi was was recognised for her ongoing efforts in raising the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel’s profile as a “Centre of Excellence for UAE Nationals.”

Now in its eleventh year, the Hotelier Middle East Awards are a celebration of excellence and recognise a number of front and back of house roles, including laundry managers, chefs, marketing experts, concierges, spa professionals and engineers.
