Jumeirah Zabeel Saray to welcome renowned Indian chef from The Cinnamon Club

Dubai, 28 October 2014:  Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, the Ottoman inspired luxury resort located on Palm Jumeirah, is proud to welcome Chef Vivek Singh from The Cinnamon Club in London for a series of special dining experiences between 13 -15 November 2014.

Chef Vivek Singh and Amala’s Chef Aman Kumar will join forces to showcase the best in Indian cooking at the resort’s signature Indian restaurant, Amala.

The partnership will see Chef Singh from The Cinnamon Club bring his Indian culinary flair to Amala, which specialises in Munglai cuisine. The pair will showcase a series of distinctive dishes, tasting experience dinners and Indian spice master classes.

Guests can dine a la carte on 13, 14 and 15 November or try the tasting experience for AED 325. On 14-15 November, diners can gain hints and tips from both guest Chef Singh and Amala’s Chef Aman at the spice master class, priced at AED 265.

Indian Chef Aman Manoj Kumar, joined Jumeirah Zabeel Saray as Chef De Cuisine in Amala, the resorts signature Indian restaurant after 17 years’ experience working across different international hotels. Chef Aman now manages a creative team serving the finest Indian cuisine. Amala, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s signature Indian restaurant has won multiple awards and serves the very best of Minghlai cusine. Strongly influenced by Persia and Turkey, Mughlai cuisine represents the cooking style used in Delhi, Lucknow, Punjab and Kashmir and is known for its richness which comes from exotic spices, dried fruits and cream. Authentically Indian, the focus on a high quality, good value culinary experience means that guests can order as many dishes  as they choose from an á la carte menu of over 50 dish selections for a set price of AED 285 / 195 per person for dinner / lunch.Open 7 days a week for dinner and open for lunch on Friday and Saturday only; Lunch: 1-4pm / Dinner: 6pm – 1am.
