Jumeirah celebrates success at the Middle East Hotel Awards
Dubai, 10 June 2014: Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, is delighted to announce two hotels were recognised at the Middle East Hotel Awards.
Burj Al Arab won Best Hotel in the Middle East and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel won Best Hotel Lobby.
Known as the world’s most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab offers suite-only accommodation with discreet in-room check-in, a private reception on every floor and a host of personal butlers to offer unparalleled hospitality.
The Jumeirah Creekside Hotel lobby is home to a unique cultural experience for guests who can view a large Middle Eastern Contemporary Art Collection as they walk through the property. Adding to the hotel’s unique character, through the summer months, a stunning Senbazuru origami display has been suspended in the lobby, made up of 1000 folded cranes. The sustainable display replaces the need for fresh flowers which perish quickly in the summer months.
Charles Clark, General Manager at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised at the Middle East Hotel Awards. This award reflects our hard work and is a credit to the hotel, colleagues and of course, our unique hotel lobby which houses a stunning collection of Middle Eastern Contemporary Art.”
The Middle East is recognised worldwide for its ability to innovate, create, lead and achieve in the field of hospitality and this ceremony celebrates hotel design, hospitality experience and new innovations. Organised by The Hotel Show, the largest dedicated hotel and hospitality exhibition for the Middle East region, the event saw more than 30 shortlisted hotels and suppliers compete for prizes in 18 categories. The evening included a VIP networking reception, three-course meal and entertainment.
