Jumeirah Carlton Tower appoints new Director of Events

London, 15 October 2014:  Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Joe Mensah as Director of Events at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

With over fifteen years’ experience in event management, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge to this pivotal role. Prior to his appointment he was Director of Events and Operations at the InterContinental London where his responsibilities included the planning and execution of high profile events. Joe’s responsibilities included overseeing large-scale conferences, cocktail receptions, exhibitions, award dinners and weddings.

Joe is delighted to begin his new role and is poised to lead his passionate team to new heights. Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, London is committed to delivering excellent guest experiences in service and facilities, staying true to Jumeirah’s STAY DIFFERENT™ brand promise.

Joe’s responsibilities include managing events at the recently refurbished ballroom. With its exquisite new design, the venue is suitable for any special occasion or conference. The ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests for dinner or up to 700 for a cocktail reception. Alternatively, the space can be divided into three more intimate areas – Westbourne, Knightsbridge and Salisbury – to accommodate up to 220 guests for a theatre set up, 350 guests for a reception set up, and 50 guests for a banquet set up respectively.
