Dubai, 28 April 2013: The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), one of the world’s leading hospitality business management schools and part of Jumeirah Group, is proud to announce that one of its students, Anna Jentgen, has won the Taste New Zealand Chef Competition 2013.
Chefs from all across the UAE entered the competition with only ten finalists being chosen, including Anna Jentgen from The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, the only female finalist as well as the only student amongst nine other professional chefs. Anna prepared a three course meal that won the hearts of the judging panel.
Anna wins an all-expenses paid trip to New Zealand. The awards ceremony was held at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, where the New Zealand Consul General & Trade Commissioner, Steve Jones announced the award.
