Dubai, 09 October 2011: The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), one of the world’s leading business hospitality management schools and a part of the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company, Jumeirah Group, will hold a graduation ceremony for its seventh graduating class. The event, taking place on October 16 2011, will be attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Academy was established in 2001 with a small cohort of 15 students; more than 230 students from 60 countries have since graduated. The current graduating cohort of over 50 students takes the number of graduates from The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management to about 300.
Graduates from EAHM find excellent professional placement opportunities in the hospitality and other related sectors; 90% are employed within the first six months of graduation. Alumni are now working in over 40 countries and have been employed by close to 100 companies worldwide.
This September, The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management celebrated another milestone with its largest intake ever: more than 110 students joining from over 30 different countries thanks to the ever expanding reputation of the school. This significant milestone is in line with EAHM’s vision to be a world leader in facilitating university level learning, scholarship and research in the fields of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
