Dubai, 12 March 2013: Residents, visitors and foodies alike will delight in the refreshing flavours and tantalizing dishes from The Ivy with the launch of their exciting new Spring-Summer menu this month. Showcasing over 15 brand new dishes that feature only the freshest and best seasonal ingredients the warmer months have to offer, The Ivy, one of Dubai’s favourite dining destinations, is set to please with mouth-watering sharing plates, fresh salads and garnishes, and a unique mix of The Ivy’s classic favourites and innovative international dishes.
The refreshing menu embraces the warmer seasons by incorporating in-season asparagus, spring lamb, broad beans, peas, wild strawberries, tomatoes and fresh herbs, and aims to let the natural flavours of the ingredients speak for themselves. In addition, sharing plates have been introduced to the menu, including The Ivy tasting plate, mixed seafood or prime rib of beef for two and The Ivy dessert plate to allow diners to sample as many of The Ivy favourites all at once.
The Spring-Summer menu takes guests on a culinary world tour with international dishes inspired from Britain, Italy, Spain, China, Thailand, Japan and Wales, and ingredients sourced both locally from Sharjah and from as far as Norway and Scotland to ensure that the tastes are authentic. New dishes such as the honey-glazed szechuan duck and the prawn risotto are great examples of dishes cooked the traditional way by one of the many experienced international Chefs.
The Ivy’s dramatic desserts have also received a seasonal upgrade, with the famed chocolate crackle bombe served with a wild strawberry twist and a brand new cappuccino brûlèe and chocolate soufflé.

While enjoying the delights of the new menu, guests can relax to the soothing tunes of the region’s top artists with The Ivy Jazz Lounge playing live jazz music every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Guests are also treated to live jazz each Friday at The Ivy’s revamped brunch, which features two exciting ways to try all the new menu has to , including a degustation-style tasting menu or a 3-course a la carte menu.

Long-time favourite of London’s theatre scene, The Ivy restaurant opened in Dubai on the Ground Floor of The Boulevard, Jumeirah Emirates Towers on 9 June 2011. Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the restaurant pays homage to its alma mater in London through rich oak paneling, British racing green banquettes and the signature harlequin stained glass windows.
