Notes to editor
Long-time favourite of London’s theatre scene, The Ivy restaurant opened in Dubai on the Ground Floor of The Boulevard, Jumeirah Emirates Towers on 9 June 2011. Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the restaurant pays homage to its alma mater in London through rich oak paneling, British racing green banquettes and the signature harlequin stained glass windows. A striking art collection, put together by curator and artist Patricia Millns, adorns the walls and the exquisite chandeliers are an elegant addition to the room. The Ivy is an ideal place for lunch, dinner or simply a drink at the bar. Housing a private dining room like the London stronghold and a 60 seater terrace, the restaurant offers a brasserie-style menu with a selection of Ivy classics, such as its world famous shepherd’s pie and Scandinavian iced berries with hot white chocolate sauce. The restaurant shares the same standards of food, ambiance and service as The Ivy in London, but has a distinctive feel to it.
