Rivington Grill to Showcase Signature Dishes at Taste of Dubai 2011

Chef of Rivington Grill to Share Kitchen Secrets and Recipes at Middle East’s Premier Food and Beverage Festival

Dubai, 28 February 2011: Rivington Grill, the first restaurant of Caprice Holdings to open in Dubai and part of Jumeirah Restaurants LLC, a division of Dubai-based luxury hospitality company Jumeirah Group, today announced it will showcase its special menu at Taste of Dubai 2011, the premier food and beverage festival in the Middle East.

Participating for the third consecutive year, Rivington Grill will feature its offerings alongside The Ivy, the multi-award winning restaurant that is set to open in Dubai for the first time outside London. The fourth edition of Taste of Dubai is scheduled to be held from 3 – 5 March at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

Head Chef Simon Conboy will present some of the finest classic dishes at Taste of Dubai 2011. Visitors to the Rivington Grill stand will also get the opportunity to taste signature British dishes including Scotch egg, watercress salad and piccalilli for starters, as well asfish and chips with mushy peas for the main course, and Eton mess for dessert.

In addition, Simon Conboy will share his kitchen secrets with the audience from 11:00pm to 11:40pm on 4 March and from 2:00pm to 2:40pm on 5 March at the adjacent Cookery School within the premises. He is scheduled to interact with the crowds with ‘Steak Tartare’, a classic dish.

An entertainment-filled festival of food, beverage and music, Taste of Dubai 2011 will feature Dubai’s top chefs and restaurants serving up award-winning dishes to visitors. More than 14,000 people are expected to attend the 2010 event.

The Rivington Grill, located at The Souk Al Bahar, Level 3, Old Town at Downtown Burj Khalifa, brings authentic British flavours to the Middle East with its internationally acclaimed hallmarks of quality and simplicity in food and beverage, as well as design and service. Popular with the multicultural tastes of the Dubai community, the restaurant also serves seasonal recipes inspired by local produce.
