A fast track program to grow UAE nationals, both academically and operationally. Upon successful completion they will become the Hotel General Managers in 2020, responsible for the management of the hotels’ commercial and operational strategies, to achieve financial and business targets.
Jumeirah’s future leaders selected for this program, will start their 5 year journey with full support of the hotels’ operations and supporting functions for the first 3 years, to develop an all-round operational hotel experience. At the completion of these three years, candidates will have taken an overseas position for one year at our global properties, running their own teams and operations, to enhance their leadership and business acumen competencies. The fifth and final year will be in a senior role with full responsibility, to enhance both colleagues and guest experience. After successful completion the Future Leader will take up a senior position within one of our larger hotels and resorts.
Learning & Development:
We pride ourselves on our extensive company Orientation programme that all new colleagues including nationals attend within the first month of joining the company. This programme is then followed by a 2-4 day induction programme in the workplace/hotel/division the colleague will be working at.
We have a strong focus on developing and retaining our national colleagues. We offer a wide range of training and development courses for nationals at all levels through our dedicated Centre for Learning & Development
Our training programmes are designed with colleagues' career growth in mind meaning whilst a colleague is moving up the ranks; a new array of training programmes becomes available to him/her supporting the colleague in their personal growth.
