Saeed Al Dashti is Group Chief Human Capital Officer for Jumeirah Group. He was appointed into this role in October 2016, having excelled in his previous roles as both Chief Security Officer, from January 2008 and most recently as Chief Information Officer, from July 2010. Originally from the United Arab Emirates, Saeed has shared his wealth of experience with Jumeriah Group and previously shaped an illustrious career of fourteen years, within the Dubai Police Headquarters as Head of Information and IT Security.
As Group Chief Human Capital Officer, Saeed reports directly to Jumeirah Group CEO, Stefan Leser. Saeed oversees the recruitment, retention and engagement of the 13,500 colleagues within Jumeirah Group. He is responsible for the Group’s HR strategy, which is built on five pillars; implementing a performance driven culture; a global resourcing strategy; a robust HR operating model; a UAE National development programme; and a system for embedding the Jumeirah culture. Saeed also supervises and directs the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management.
Saeed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Ajman University, UAE, as well as a Masters in IT Security from the University of Westminster, UK. During his time in London he specialised in internet and network security, which prompted his later career moves.
Saeed has attended a number of executive and leadership programmes such as the Senior Executive Programme, London Business School; Corporate Governance and Board Effectiveness with PWC and others, accredited and lead by Harvard Business School and Cranfield University.
