Islamic architecture Soaring high above Dubai’s financial district, the towers are among the most iconic in the world. Comprising two equilateral triangles, the exterior was inspired by traditional Islamic themes. The landmark is home to an Office Tower, Hotel Tower and The Boulevard, an upscale retail and dining complex. Construction began in 1996 and the towers opened in 2000.
If you’re lucky enough to witness one of Dubai’s stunning sunsets (especially prevalent during the winter months) Jumeirah Emirates Towers provides the perfect backdrop.
The 56-floor hotel is adjacent to the Dubai International Financial Centre (more commonly known as DIFC), the Dubai World Trade Centre and The Dubai Mall, making the property one of Dubai’s leading city lifestyle destinations and a place you can effortlessly switch between business and leisure.
Open, inviting and buzzing with activity, the lobby’s focal point is the 30-metre high atrium and the four glass elevators that swiftly move from top to bottom, covering four metres per second. This picture was taken from one of the hotel’s highest floors, looking down.
The hotel’s location makes it perfect for capturing the other amazing skyscrapers lining the famous Sheikh Zayed Road. Explore outside the hotel and the grounds and you’ll find no shortage of interesting buildings and architecture to capture.
If you take a walk around the grounds by the Boulevard entrance, close to Al Nafoorah restaurant, you will see this Dubai inspired graffiti art on the wall, perfect for an arty Instagram pose.
