Enhancements at Jumeirah Vittaveli

Please find details of our maintenance and enhancement projects at Jumeirah Vittaveli:

Annual Restaurant Closures:

Swarna, our award winning signature restaurant serving inspired Indian cuisine, will be closed from May 12 – June 12, 2018, to enable us to enhance your experience further. In this wait period, you may of course savour a compact version of the signature Swarna Thali during dinner times at Samsara so that you won’t miss out on the exquisite Indian recipes created by Executive Chef Francis Cornelious together with Chef de Cuisine of Swarna Bharat Kapoor.

Fenesse Conversion, Opening of Cyan, Cuvée Wine Library and Fumée Lounge

Fenesse, our French fine dining restaurant, is being converted into four distinctly separate spaces:

Fenesse will continue to serve French classic and contemporary cuisine. With an extended seating area on the open air balcony, it will offer views across the lagoon and free standing Ocean Suites.

Cyan will be stretching across several private terraces overlooking the lagoon. It will serve beverages inspired by the Spice Route, together with ‘MediterrAsian’ delicacies from oysters to tapas to a selection of rare caviars. Open from afternoon until late, the mood will be enhanced by DJ tunes.

Cuvée, the new wine library, with glass walls that provide a panoramic view, also doubles as space for private functions and degustation dinner. It will boast over 350 labels from select vineyards around the world including a number of unique bin-end wines.

Fumée is our dedicated lounge for hand rolled Cuban cigars, trendy hookahs and fragrant vaping.

The new lounge and restaurant concepts have been inspired by the Spice and Silk Routes that connected Europe with Asia. The Silk Route designated the maritime journey from the Mediterranean Sea, in the West, all the way to the Korean peninsula and Japan. It was one of the most important trading routes that also culturally connected two continents that had been almost unknown to each other.

Wedding Chapel

Jumeirah Vittaveli will have its own overwater Wedding Chapel, where brides can walk across glass floors to meet their groom with a backdrop of magnificent turquoise Indian Ocean. The Wedding chapel will be located next to Fenesse and Cyan.
