Arriving at Talise spa
To give yourself time to relax and experience our facilities, we recommend you to arrive 30 to 60 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Late arrival
If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment time may have to be reduced.
It is advisable to shower prior to all body treatments. Shaving amenities are provided in the changing room. However, it is recommended that men shave a few hours before their facial appointments.

What to wear
When you arrive, we will provide you with a comfortable robe, disposable underwear and slippers. After changing, unwind in the relaxation area, after which your therapist will lead you to your treatment room. You need to wear a swimsuit while using the spa facilities.

Spa etiquette
The spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect our peaceful ambience and the privacy of other guests.

Privacy
In keeping with cultural values, please show modesty when using the changing areas.
|
Valuables & jewelry
We recommend you not to wear any jewelry during the spa treatments. If you bring valuables and jewelry with you, we will provide a place for their safekeeping. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for them.

Mobile phones
After arriving, kindly turn your mobile phone to silent mode so that you and our other guests can totally delight in the experience.

Smoking
Talise Spa is a smoke free facility.

Consultation & health conditions
There will be a consultation session with a qualified spa practitioner before your treatment, where any health concerns or special needs can be addressed. Please advise us if you suffer from any medical conditions, injuries and allergies. While booking, do let us know if you have any special requests as some treatments may not be safe or suitable to implement.

Pregnancy
While booking, please inform us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as some treatments may not be safe or suitable to implement.

Your comfort
To ensure that you relax and receive a perfect spa experience according to your preference, please let our therapists know whether the pressure applied is suitable or not.

Home care
It is recommended that you avoid sunbathing for at least two to three hours after some treatments such as exfoliation. Your therapist will recommend you sun protection products, available at the Talise Spa Retail Shop.

Gift certificates
The Gift Certificates can be purchased at the Spa reception for a specific service, package or amount.
|
Water
We recommend you to drink water before and after the treatment to flush out toxins from the body.
|
Food
The treatment is not advised right after a meal, please maintain a sufficient gap, at least two to three hours for body and massage treatment. We also provide our healthy eating menu in the Talise Aqua Cafe.

Tipping
Gratuities are always left to your discretion, if you feel they are warranted by the service you have received.
|
Reservations
To avoid disappointment, we recommend you to book your treatment in advance. Credit card details or prepayment are required to make and confirm any booking.

Spa opening hours
Talise Spa remains open from 9:00 to 22:00 daily.
|
Children
Children under the age of 16 will not be able to have spa treatments or use the spa facility. Children between the age of 16 to 18 who wish to use the spa facility, should be accompanied by their parents or an adult, who will have to sign a consent form.

Cancellation & no-show policy
If you need to cancel your appointment with us, please try to give us a six hours’ prior notice for individual treatment and one day prior notice for packages. Less than that or a no show, will lead to 100% treatment charges that will have to be paid by you.

Feedback
We want all our guests to feel comfortable during their visit to the Talise Spa. In case you have any concerns or queries regarding your treatment or facilities, please speak to your therapist or Spa Director, who will ensure that you have the best possible experience.

Local laws
In adherence to Kuwait Law, female therapists will attend the female guests and male therapists will attend the male guests.
|
Discretion of management
At the discretion of the Spa Manager / Spa Director, guests may be asked to leave or might not be allowed to enter the spa area, if aspects of their behavior impact the experience of other guests within the facility.

Sauna & Steam
Both sauna and steam are beneficial before or after all the spa treatments. The sauna is dry heat that warms up and relaxes your muscles. We recommend you to experience sauna treatment for up to ten minutes at a time.
The steam room is wet heat that is effective in opening the pores and is wonderful for the respiratory system. We recommend five to six minutes of steam treatment at a time.

Snow cabin
After spending time in the heated areas, soothe your body by rubbing crushed ice and enjoy a quick shower to cool yourself.

Hydropool
Incorporating a number of features to enable the bather to a self-administering massage, the pool is heated up to 32 ºC. It is equipped with ergonomic loungers that are designed to provide full body air jet and swan neck massages.
