The Atatürk Museum Room

The great leader and founder of modern-day Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed at the Pera Palace Hotel in 1917 for the first time and from then on Room 101 was his preferred choice.

On his 100th birthday in 1981, the room was converted into a museum. The room is open for visits and contains the personal belongings of Atatürk such as his clothes, hats, shoes, eyeglasses etc.

Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah continues to collect items related to Atatürk and those pertinent to the early 20th century period, including books, magazines, carpets and medals.
