On a private beach in Manama’s new Seef district, sits the majestic Jumeirah Royal Saray. Beautifully enclosed by the Arabian sea, the serene setting of the hotel brings forth a new wave of understated luxury, making Bahrain a highly desirable leisure destination.

Jumeirah Royal Saray is a work of art in its own right. The inspired decor of the resort comprises the best materials and unparalleled statement pieces curated from places around the globe. The resort is like a regal Bahraini summer house replete with a coastal feel. The guestrooms are decked in lush tones of nacre, silver shimmer and ocean blue; tones that are emblematic of the renowned Bahraini pearls. Savour the contemporary menus and mixed drinks during your stay. Sip on world-class coffee made by baristas flown in from Colombia accompanied by the finest pastry selection crafted by our executive pastry chef.

While in Bahrain, host your guests at the summer houses, roam around streets full of traditional and artisan crafts or watch the sunset over the palm trees on our private beach. Rest, socialise and make memories at our exotic retreat.

Above the Waves: Bahrain’s white-knuckle Watersports

Bahrain is a rugged shard of land attached to Saudi Arabia by the sinew of the King Fahd Causeway. The protrusive hook of Khalifa Bin Salman port has drawn a huge influx of shipping from across the Northern Gulf. With its strong seafaring history, busy port and warm Gulf waters, it’s no wonder Bahraini society and tourism has become so ocean-centric. Yacht clubs, dive schools, powerboat operators and organisations like Sail Bahrain now draw in tourists, transforming this island into one of the world’s best venues for white-knuckle water sports.

From Formula 1 to Ferrari: A Motorsports Guide to Bahrain

There’s plenty to entertain during a visit to Bahrain: camel safaris, exquisite mosques, fragrant spice souks, spectacular landscapes. But for those with a fondness for the hot smell of burning rubber, the scream of tyres on tarmac and the full throttle of a 1,500-horsepower engine, Bahrain never disappoints. Home to the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix, it’s a haven for petrol heads who know a 718 from a 911 and a Chiron from a Veyron. Here are all the ways in which Bahrain is the top destination for car enthusiasts.
