Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort sits majestically on the island’s prime beach. Resembling a summer house, its sophisticated interiors offer a backdrop of refined island life and quiet understated luxury.

Our seven exciting and indulging dining destinations, 2,700 square meter spa with 15 treatment rooms and three outdoor pools, offer thoughtfully personalized service to elevate every moment. The modern and light rooms feature expansive sea views and the panoramic suites offer floor-to-ceiling glass walls that open up to the sea breeze. All the villas offer private pools, for a truly exclusive experience.

The resort will provide solutions to eliminate the need for single use plastic water bottles to minimize impact to the island’s habitats, the hotel will provide complimentary reusable plastic bottles for each guest who will be encouraged to refill them at water stations, serving local filtered water in glass bottles throughout the resort and eliminating plastic straws.

Feel the sand in your toes and the sea breeze in your hair, wade in the blue waters, fuel your soul with art, your body with wellness and let Jumeirah’s legendary service take care of the rest.

Sand and the City: A Long Weekend in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi has it all: pristine, white beaches perfect for either white-knuckle water-sports or serene sunbathing, glorious desert landscapes that soothe the soul with their natural beauty, and the city of Abu Dhabi itself, rising preeminently like an urban star from the stunning Gulf coast. Abu Dhabi is the ideal getaway for a long weekend: spend a day on a massage bed overlooking champagne dunes, relaxing on the beach drinking in the cool atmosphere, and the next in the city enjoying a decadent day and night fit for a celebrity.

In Search of The Humpback Dolphin in Abu Dhabi

Think of the Abu Dhabi coast and your mind will probably conjure high-rise skylines, glamourous ports, and opulent maritime developments. But what about dolphins? Hidden offshore is one of the Indian Ocean’s most playful and peculiar creatures: the humpback dolphin. Usually elusive and small in number, a recent study conducted by the Environment Agency revealed that humpback dolphins flock to Abu Dhabi’s sandy coasts in search of warm waters. In fact, the study shows that Abu Dhabi is home to over 700 humpback dolphins, the largest known population in the world.

The UNESCO Treasures of Abu Dhabi

Lost amidst the glitz and glamor of Abu Dhabi’s glass and steel skyline are four stunningly-beautiful but little-known UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Uncovered, restored, and preserved over the past 50 years, these properties reveal the longest continuously inhabited areas in the region. Wandering through Bronze and Iron Age settlements set against dramatic landscapes brings Abu Dhabi’s rich and largely forgotten cultural heritage to life. From the Jebel Hafeet Tombs, hidden among towering bare-rock ridges, to the palm-studded canopies of the Al Ain Oasis, Abu Dhabi’s unique UNESCO sites offer a world of history that stands in striking contrast to the capital’s super-modern architecture.
