From Russia With Verse

Inspired by a wonderful holiday experience at Jumeirah Vittaveli, a well-known Russian poet Natali Akhundova decided to write a short verse in her native language as a gift to the resort. Natali was having dinner in Fenesse with her husband and was so impressed by their holiday, Natali put her thoughts and feelings into writing. The poem has been translated into English and inscribed onto a wooden sign at Fenesse. Originally from Russia, Natali now resides in Baku with her Azerbaijani husband.

“From earthly life befell a fairy tale, catch a bluebird with wings and a tail. Maldives, the pearl of peaceful serenity, transforms our dreams into reality.”
