Help rescue turtles

Young scientists and inquisitive minds will embrace the chance to familiarise themselves with the fascinating underwater world. The Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project helps rehabilitate turtles which have been found sick or injured throughout the region, before releasing them back into their natural habitat. After spending time recuperating in Burj Al Arab Jumeirah’s spectacular aquarium facilities, where the critical care part of the rehabilitation takes place, the majestic creatures are transferred to Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Turtle Lagoon, where the turtles spend the last stage of their rehabilitation, before they are ready to be released back into their natural habitat. Your children can participate in our daily scheduled educational sessions and help feed the turtles.

Hawksbill turtles can also be found nesting at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island’s Turtle Conservation Project, where little ones can put all their burning questions to the resort’s resident experts.

Citizen science
