Dwelling with Care:

Art as a gesture of connection at Jumeirah Capri Palace

In the heart of Anacapri, Jumeirah Capri Palace renews its commitment to contemporary culture with the new exhibition conceived for the 2026 season, “Abitare Con Cura – Dwelling with Care: Fragments for a Shared World.” Created in collaboration with Galleria Continua and curated by White Artelier, the exhibition offers an immersive experience where art and hospitality intertwine in an authentic and meaningful way.

The exhibition stems from a reflection on how we inhabit the contemporary world, often perceived as fragmented and disconnected. Dwelling with Care invites us to look beyond this sense of fragmentation, suggesting that it is precisely within singularity that a sense of unity and belonging can be rediscovered. The concept of “care” thus becomes both an ethical and poetic key to rebuilding relationships between people, objects and environments in a more conscious way.

The exhibition path unfolds as a dialogue among some of the most important artists on the international contemporary art scene, including Yoan Capote, Loris Cecchini, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Subodh Gupta, Alicja Kwade, Luis López-Chávez, and Oranghi & Prestinari. Although diverse in language and materials, the works are integrated into the hotel’s spaces as symbolic maps, capable of suggesting new connections and shared perspectives. The fragment thus becomes essential: no longer a sign of rupture, but an indispensable element in reconstructing a sense of collective harmony.

With Dwelling with Care, Jumeirah Capri Palace reaffirms its identity as a place where hospitality opens up to cultural dialogue, offering its guests not only a stay, but an opportunity to reflect, connect, and inhabit the world with a renewed perspective.
