Dubai’s Arabian-themed waterpark has been drawing crowds since it opened in 1999. Its enormous popularity is not surprising – the park has 30 rides to choose from, as well as an incredible location next to Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Where better to cool off and have some fun under the Arabian sun?

For thrill seekers, the Jumeirah Sceirah plunge slide is the place to start, with its vertiginous 120m drop and 80km/h speeds. Next up, try the Burj Surj, if you dare, with its speedy downhill waterslides and big splash finale. Elsewhere, Master Blasters will see you rocketing up to 15m on a wet and wild aquatic rollercoaster ride. There are loads of hair-raising rides to choose from, so pace yourself and prepare for a memorable, adrenaline-fuelled day.

For a more relaxing experience, head to Juha’s Journey, a 360m lazy river ride, popular with families and suitable for all ages. Alternatively, Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon, designed with small children in mind, promises hours of fun. With over 100 kid-friendly activities, including slides, water guns and rain showers, this interactive play area has been a big hit since opening in 2005.

The rides aren’t the only attraction at Wild Wadi Waterpark™, and many visitors enjoy the dining options almost as much as the slides and rollercoasters. From tempting pizzas, burgers and shawarmas to healthy options such as smoothies and fresh fruit, there’s something to satisfy every taste. You’ll also find a number of the carts dotted around the park, selling everything from popcorn to ice cream.

To add a touch of luxury to your day at Wild Wadi Waterpark™, why not reserve a VIP cabana? Located along the Lazy River, the shady cabanas include sumptuous sun loungers, towels, bottled water and a private refrigerator to keep your food and drinks cool.
