Designed to Be Sustainable

Every stay shaped by care for people, place and the future

Our Commitment to a More Sustainable Future

At Jumeirah Emirates Towers, sustainability is approached with care, consistency and a deep sense of responsibility. Every decision is shaped by our belief that thoughtful hospitality should respect both people and place. From how we operate to how we engage with our community; sustainability is part of everyday life across the hotel.

DTCM Sustainable Tourism Programme Compliance
Jumeirah Emirates Towers subscribes to Dubai’s Sustainable Tourism Programme, aligning with the emirate’s guidelines for energy conservation and responsible tourism. These standards guide how we manage resources, reduce waste and support a more sustainable hospitality ecosystem across the city.

Implementation of Electronic Guest Registration
By introducing electronic guest registration, we have significantly reduced paper usage while also creating a smoother, more efficient arrival experience for our guests. It is a simple change that delivers a meaningful reduction in our environmental footprint.

Availability of E-Car Charging Stations
Electric vehicle charging stations are available for both hotel guests and the wider community, supporting the transition toward cleaner transportation and helping to reduce emissions linked to urban travel.

Participation in Emirates Environmental Group Activities
We regularly partner with the Emirates Environmental Group, an organisation dedicated to environmental protection through education, action programmes and community involvement. Through this collaboration, we actively support initiatives that inspire awareness and long-term positive change across the UAE.

In-House Water Bottling Plant
Our on-site water bottling facility reduces reliance on single-use plastic bottles, saving the equivalent of 670,000 plastic bottles every year. This initiative plays a vital role in lowering transport emissions and minimising plastic waste.

Recycling Bins in Guest Rooms and Public Areas
Recycling bins are thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel, including in guest rooms and public spaces, making it easy for guests and colleagues to take part in our sustainable waste-management practices.

Donation of Used Linen, Uniforms and Paper Products
Each year, we donate used hotel linen, colleague uniforms and paper products to selected charities. To date, over 1.1 tonnes of textiles and 3,000 kilos of paper have been given new purpose, extending the life of valuable resources while supporting meaningful causes.

Use of E-Menus Across All Restaurants and In-Room Dining
Digital menus are available across our dining venues and for in-room dining, reducing the need for printed materials while allowing menus to be updated quickly and responsibly. Printed menus remain available upon request.

Fresh Seafood from Local Sustainable Farms
We source our seafood from local, sustainable farms in the UAE, supporting responsible aquaculture while reducing the environmental impact associated with long-distance transportation.

Healthy and Sustainable Dishes on All Menus
Every menu includes thoughtfully prepared dishes that balance nutrition, quality and sustainability, giving guests the opportunity to make choices that support both personal wellbeing and the planet.

Nespresso Recycling Programme
As part of the Nespresso recycling programme, used coffee capsules are collected and processed so valuable materials can be recovered and reused, helping to reduce waste and support circular economy principles.

Circular Waste Management Partnership
Jumeirah Emirates Towers has partnered with The Waste Lab to implement a circular, zero-waste solution that transforms food scraps, leftovers and coffee grounds into compost and repurposed resources through natural treatment processes, reducing landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions while returning nutrients to the soil.
