Manuel José Caicedo Moncada

Executive Chef 

Manuel has worked across Latin America and Spain, and now brings his talent to Dubai as Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s Executive Chef. With a wealth of culinary experience across Spanish, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines, Chef Manuel is responsible for planning menus and designing recipes across the hotel’s restaurants. In this way, he ensures that our food offering is the very best it can be – inspiring to the palate, beautiful to the eye and memorable every night. 


George Anachorlis

Pastry Chef


George joined Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in March 2013 and works as our Pastry Chef. Originally from Greece, he has over 10 years of professional cooking and kitchen experience, creating spectacular pastry and sweet dishes. Prior to joining Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, George worked in a number of luxury establishments in Greece, and he also holds a degree in pastry and culinary art. At Zabeel Saray, he specialises in satisfying the sweet tooth of all our guests with spectacular dessert buffets, plated desserts, molecular cookery and big banquet operations.


Musabbeh Al Kaabi

Executive Oriental Chef


Musabbeh’s colourful culinary career started after a seven-year service in the United Arab Emirates Army. He joined the Jumeirah Group in 2006, working at Jumeirah Beach Hotel for three years. Prior to joining Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in 2011, Musabbeh was known for his Ramadan cooking shows on Kuwaiti Channel Al Rai TV and Sharjah TV. He still presents various TV shows and cooking demonstrations across the region including UAE Culinary programmes for Jumeirah in the USA.


Rajesh Nayak

Chef de Cuisine, Sultan's Lounge


Rajesh is Chef de Cuisine for Sultan’s Lounge, the lobby restaurant for afternoon tea at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Rajesh started his culinary career in 2003, and joined Jumeirah as a demi chef de partie soon after. He moved to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in 2013 as Sous Chef for our all-day dining kitchen, and was then promoted to Chef de Cuisine for Sultan’s Lounge, where he now manages the kitchen.


Mohammad Al Makki

Chef de Cuisine, Al Nafoorah


Mohammad Al Makki is Chef de Cuisine at Al Nafoorah, one of the resort’s signature restaurants serving authentic Lebanese cuisine. Mohammad has over 14 years of culinary experience, having started his professional career in hotels and resorts in Lebanon. He moved to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in 2013 and worked as Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine for the main kitchen, before moving to Al Nafoorah in 2016.
