Channel Latin American passion at this unique concept restaurant by celebrity chef Richard Sandoval
Chef Sandoval grew up watching his grandmother cook in Mexico City, learning not just how to craft flavours and dishes, but how to make meals into a celebrated event. After a time as a professional tennis player, he eventually returned to his first love. He went to culinary school, and after opening two successful French restaurants in New York, established his flagship Mexican restaurant, Maya, in 1997. Today he owns a portfolio of restaurants around the world, and designs menus for many others. He delights in combining Latin ingredients with global flavours, using inventive techniques to create new and imaginative dishes, while experimenting with modern Mexican, Latin-Asian, Peruvian and Pan-Latin cuisines.
