The Talise Fitness Swimming Programme at Jumeirah Beach Hotel offers three different levels to cater to all ages and levels of competency.

Learn to Swim Level:

This level accustoms children aged 4-5 years to the deep end of the pool, enables children to feel more comfortable in and around the pool, and teaches them water safety. To pass this programme, swimmers must be able to independently swim 25 metres or more.

Stroke Development Level:

Children aged 5 years and above are placed in different levels based on their ability and age. each stage is designed to reach different targets. 

Stage 1 – Children aged 5-6 years will learn foundations of front crawl and backstroke.

Stage 2 – Children aged 6-8 years will continue to work on the front crawl and backstroke and will be introduced to the breaststroke.

Stage 3 – Swimmers aged 8-11 years will continue to develop previously learnt strokes and develop skills and techniques for butterfly stroke. A combination of all strokes will be introduced and swimmers will also begin endurance swimming.

Competition Level:

Swimmers are introduced to all aspects of competitive swimming including tumble turns, race starts, individual medley transitions, rules and regulations, disqualification criteria and more. This programme is aimed at swimmers aged 11 years and above that are capable of enduring medium to hard intensity swimming training.
