New Resort Executive Chef Appointed at Madinat Jumeirah

Dubai, 27 March 2014:  Madinat Jumeirah, the luxurious Arabian Resort of Dubai, has appointed Chef Lee Goble as its new Executive Chef. 

Chef Lee will oversee all culinary activities across Madinat Jumeirah’s three hotels – Mina A’Salam, Al Qasr, and Dar Al Masyaf to ensure consistent high quality food and service are delivered throughout the resort. With over 40 food and beverage outlets, Madinat Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s top culinary destinations.

Chef Lee began his culinary career in England at the Ritz Hotel in London and has worked as Executive Chef at 5-Star hotels and resorts across the Caribbean, including Jamaica, the Bahamas and Saint Lucia. While based in this region he held the positions as Executive Chef at both the Ritz Carlton and Atlantis in the Bahamas. It was at these locations that he developed a passion for contemporary Caribbean Cuisine. Chef Lee worked for a year in Egypt which served as an introduction to the rich diversity of North African cuisine. 

In the course of his career, he has had the privilege of catering for royalty and heads of government. For the last two years, Chef Lee has travelled the world on luxury cruise liners as the Executive Chef with Celebrity Cruise Line Worldwide.

With his passion for using only the finest freshest ingredients, Chef Lee is committed to developing his contemporary and innovative culinary style to incorporate the traditional flavours of the Middle East.

Chef Lee will ensure that exceptional dining experiences continue to be enjoyed throughout the Madinat Jumeirah resort.
