Madinat Jumeirah hosts Taste of Peru
Dubai, 28 January 2014: Following great success last year, Madinat Jumeirah will host the second annual Taste of Peru which is an event of Dubai Food Festival.
The four day celebration of Peruvian gastronomy takes place in Souk Amphitheatre, Madinat Jumeirah from Wednesday 26 February until Saturday 1 March, 2014.
Food huts offering classing Peruvian dishes including ceviche, tiradito, causa, quinotto, beef anticucho, and empanadas, along with Peruvian juices and the renowned national grape cocktail will be available for guests to enjoy.
Peruvian cuisine is the result of a 500-year-old melting pot of Spanish, Italian, African, Japanese and Chinese immigration combined with native Peruvian culture. It has earned recognition as one of the world’s finest cuisines, winning the World’s Leading Culinary Destination at the World Travel Awards for two years running.
Hosted by Madinat Jumeirah and organised by the Trade, Tourism and Investment Office of Peru in Dubai, Taste of Peru will include guest appearances from celebrity Peruvian and live performances by Peru Andino, a prominent group of musicians travelling to Dubai for this event.
The event starts from Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 from 6pm until 11pm and Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March from 3pm to midnight.
Taste of Peru is an event of Dubai Food Festival which takes place across Dubai from 21 February to 15 March, 2014.
