Jumeirah restaurants take part in first annual Dubai Food Festival
Dubai, 20 February 2014: Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has confirmed nearly 40 of its restaurants will participate in the city’s first Dubai Food Festival, offering attractively priced menus at outlets across the city.
During the festival, Jumeirah will also offer a home dining concept ‘@home’ and master class experiences from 21 February to 15 March 2014.
Jumeirah’s Corporate Culinary Director, Christian Gradnitzer, said: “The Dubai Food Festival brings the region's most popular and prominent food events together and Jumeirah is proud to participate, offering people the chance to sample nearly 40 casual and signature restaurants with tempting menus and prices. In addition, we’re pleased to offer master classes and our ‘@home’ dining experiences, making Jumeirah’s world-class cuisine even more accessible.”
The main event runs from 7 - 15 March when nearly 40 Jumeirah restaurants* will offer a three-course, set-menu, highlighting the diverse cuisine and high quality experiences available.
Hotels taking part include: Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Mina A’Salam, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Al Qasr, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Set menus at casual restaurants will be priced at AED 120 and signature dining experiences AED 180. Al Iwan and Junsui restaurants at Burj Al Arab will offer a lunch buffet for AED 380 and dinner buffet for AED 425. Additional restaurants participating include Noodle House, Urbano, The Ivy and the Rivington Grill.
Master class experiences at Tortuga at Madinat Jumeirah and Alta Badia at Jumeirah Emirates Towers will offer people the chance to learn how to cook signature dishes in world class kitchens. Our head chefs will showcase and demonstrate a number of signature and traditional dishes, interact with guests, invite them to join in and teach valuable skills.
During the Dubai Food Festival Tortuga, Alta Badia and Noodle House will offer the @home concept where restaurant chefs can be booked for a home visit. A small team will cook and serve dinner for a set number of guests in the comfort of your own home.
