Jumeirah Group returns to the ring with Aston Martin Racing Sponsorship
London, 18 June 2014: Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and part of Dubai Holding, has announced sponsorship of the luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin for the second year running. The hotel group will celebrate the partnership at the 42nd Nürburgring 24-Hours race in Germany.
As the highlight of the international motor racing calendar, the Nürburgring race will take place on Saturday 21 June and will see Aston Martin Racing showcase its Bilstein-liveried V12 Vantage GT3.
Jumeirah Group’s Vice President for Europe, Derek Picot, said: “We are extremely excited to announce that Jumeirah will sponsor Aston Martin Racing for another year at the Nürburgring 24-Hours. The two brands have a shared passion for luxury and a commitment to excellence. We look forward to continuing this prestigious partnership through the consistent support of Jumeirah hotels and resorts around the world.”
These two powerful luxury brands will join forces once again after a successful partnership for Aston Martin’s centenary at the Nürburgring 24-Hours in 2013. This year’s endurance classic race will also see the ninth year Aston Martin and CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez compete in the legendary event.
Jumeirah Group currently operates 22 luxury hotels and serviced apartments, including eleven in the Gulf region, eight in Europe and three in Asia. A further 17 hotels are now under development.
