Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto Launches ‘Fiat 500’ Experience

Rome, 4 June 2014: Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto has unveiled a new ‘Fiat 500’ tour, inviting guests to uncover the hidden secrets of Rome from the comfort of a car that embodies Italian style and design.

With the expertise of friendly and knowledgeable guides, guests will be able to zip in and around the crowds, adding fun and colour to an exploration of the Eternal City’s greatest treasures.
For car enthusiasts eager to get behind the steering wheel of a Fiat 500 Classic, a ‘Self Drive Guided Tour’ is available when booked through Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto

Guests will drive their rented vintage car in convoy, by following the tour leader’s car along an itinerary that includes Rome’s most famous sites. The convoy uses uncongested routes and travels at a safe speed, with stops planned for photo opportunities and explanations from the tour leader.

Alternatively, those who wish to sit back and enjoy the scenery can take a ‘Chaufeurred Tour.’A driver will collect guests from Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto and take care of the driving as guests revel in the scenery. 

Guests can take in must-see spots such as the Coliseum, Garden of Oranges with its panoramic view of Rome, Church of Santa Sabina and Monte de’Cocci in Testaccio.
