Burj Al Arab’s Talise Spa reveals its sensory journey through the Arabian world

Dubai, 17 March 2014:  Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel, invites its guests to embark on the Arabian Journey designed to bring visitors closer to the rich local culture and history and experience the ultimate in relaxation.

Available exclusively at Burj Al Arab’s Talise Spa, the Arabian Journey is influenced by local practices and wellness rituals and offers a sensory journey through the Arabian world. The products used during the treatment were created especially for the hotel using a verbena scrub infused with desert sand and patchouli massage oil.

This bespoke 85-minute luxurious treatment commences with a therapist spraying the bed linen with the majestic scent of amber musk seven times to represent each of the seven emirates. The next step of the journey offers the guest an aromatic verbena-scented sand scrub, followed by a renewing and deeply revitalising body massage leaving the skin with a sun-kissed glow.

To complete the experience the guests are welcome to enjoy a refreshing sparkling date juice and relax in serene, calming surroundings of Talise Spa. And to keep the memories of the Arabian Journey alive, a Gift of Light - a delicately-scented candle - is also presented as a souvenir.
